Laser-welded blanks with non-linear seam
They are light, but strong enough at the crucial points: Thanks to their non-linear seam, 2-D Blanks satisfy all needs at the same time – such as part weight, strength, stiffness, forming behavior and crash performance as well as material utilization. Reinforced areas of thicker materials can be reduced to the minimum necessary, for example, within a Tailored Blank.

Delivery range
We manufacture 2-D Blanks in all carbon steels and stainless steels. Thicknesses may vary between 0.6 and 3.0 mm. Welds are possible up to a length of 2,800 mm.
