We want our customers to be satisfied. Always. That’s why consistently high product quality is important to us. Only quality products keep their tension during forming and later in the vehicle. We constantly monitor the quality of our products, in particular the weld: Our systems are equipped with on-line quality inspection systems that check the welds throughout the entire production process in real-time, for both internal and external faults. Faulty components are immediately detected, tracked during the process and then ejected.
Quality starts with our employees
Our employees are instilled with a sense of quality – the basis for our innovative and reliable products. But we’re not satisfied with that alone: We also train our employees regularly. This is how we make sure that they can recognize and correct possible mistakes and errors early on, and can support our customers with expert analysis on site.
Certified quality management
Our customers’ trust in our products is important to us. That is why we continuously review and improve the product quality and manufacturing processes. Only then can we align our products and solutions to the needs of the automotive industry in a targeted way. That’s why we operate a holistic quality management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certification.
Materials test laboratory for quality assurance
Our customers benefit from our in-house material testing laboratory. This is where we promptly test component samples using modern equipment. We can therefore react quickly in case of damage and take corrective action. Here, the laboratory covers metallurgical tests, fully automatic 2-D geometry testing and simulations of the hot forming process.
Mechanical and technological testing includes
- Tensile testing
- Hardness testing
- Analysis of microsections
- Erichsen thermoforming testing
- Three-point bending tests
- Surface roughness
- Particle size analysis
Simulation of hot forming process
Tests under practical conditions: When processing high-strength steels for hot forming, we simulate the forming process in an annealing and hardening furnace. This is how we ensure that the weld and base material meet all standards.
