We face the crisis with respect, courage and goals

As a Chinese automotive supplier, we have been affected by COVID-19 since the beginning of the year. The early experiences of our colleagues in China enabled us to react quickly. As early as January, we implemented the first safeguards, focusing on spacing and hygiene measures as well as the documentation of trips to and from China. After all, the well-being of our employees and their families, but also of all other people around us, is very important to us.

At the same time, we are responsible for the economic well-being of our company. It is our job to run operations and to provide our customers with our products. We are well aware of the serious sitatution. Therefore, there are specific rules for our teams in production and administration as well as external visitors.

In crises it is often difficult to remain optimistic. And this is why we agreed on values to lead our actions during this crisis.

Acting together respectfully

We protect ourselves and others. It‘s the only way we can succeed in flattening the curve. For us, that means

  • we provide our teams with protection and hygiene supplies.
  • we keep a distance of at least 2 m.
  • we wear mouth and nose protection if the 2 m distance cannot be kept.
  • where it is possible, people are working remotely.
  • we hold meetings virtually and use telephone and video conferencing systems.
  • we inform our teams regularly.
  • we ask our visitors, suppliers and forwarding agents to meet implemented safeguards when entering our premises. Learn more about these safeguards.

Acting courageously

We make decisions with courage and confidence to successfully face the challenges of the global pandemic. We act decisively and, even in these difficult times, we invested in a new production line. This way, we ensure that we are able to supply our customers with the best possible products now and in the future.

Acting ambitiously

We’re preparing for a fresh start in order to emerge from this crisis improved and strengthened. We use this time wisely to assess ourselves and our processes. Of course, we actively provide advice and support to our customers, so that they too can master the crisis in the best possible way. And we change perspectives. In these special times, we focus on what our customers need from us to set the course for more sustainability. We believe in our resources and concentrate on developing, for example, products and solutions that enhance the transition to electro mobility.

The corona pandemic will impact our private and professional lives for some time. But, we will do our best to make bold and good decisions to cope with this crisis together.
